In the secondary clutch, a helix /spring combination is used to generate belt squeezing and up shifting forces. Helixes and secondary springs are calibrated to balance the pull from the belt created by engine torque plus the up shift force generated by the primary clutch at a point where the engine will shift out at a constant rpm.

Feel like I've been fleeced. Had to buy the main spring and weights again because the design was changed. No apology or words of condolement. So completing my 2 year old stage 2 kit into a stage 3 cost me over $315.00. Somehow I don't feel like a valued custmer. Such is life.

I ride close to stock tires 26 inch on trails. From the factory the atv made alot of noise but didn't accelerate that well. I installed a stage 1 kit which made it better but still something was missing. I installed the helix and it was a complete transformation. Quiet smooth and much more linear acceleration closer to the smoothness of my CanAm with the CvTech primary installed. It's so much better that if I ever see products from Vauhti Varikko for my 2023 XTP 1000 max, for trail use with stock tires, I will purchase them i immediately. They are superior products with a superior design. Best product I have purchased in years.
